The scheme is designed with dual robots fixed, dual-station alternatefunction, as shown in Figure 1: Due to the size of the workpiece, the length and width are 2100/1800, two welding robots are configured to weld the same product at the same time, and each robot welds half of the workpiece. The of the double station is arranged on both sides of the robot respectively. Manually install the parts, activate the robot welding button, and the two welding robots can coordinate the welding operation at the same time. At the position of the on the other side, the work can be manually moved up and down.
Roboticrequires special positioning tooling, and requires the workpiece to be positioned consistently and reliably every time to ensure that the can proceed smoothly. Each product is designed with independent positioning and clamping tooling, and the tooling and the frame base adopt a repeatable positioning device to ensure that the position of the tooling is unified after disassembly and assembly. The tooling adopts manual loading and unloading, manual fast clamping method to fix the workpiece.
To improve welding quality and efficiency, the welding unit is equipped with a 3-in-1 gun cleaning station, which is placed between the two robots to regularly clean the welding slag on the welding gun nozzle sheath and spray protective oil.
This robot welding unit configuration needs to meet the following preparatory work: 1. Pre-cutting to ensure shape, dimensional stability and compliance. 2. The stitching position, the gap should be controlled within 1.5mm. 3. At least one person is required to load and drop workpieces for this welding unit.
The welding speed of the welding robot is 8-12mm/s.
To protect workers from welding fumes and arcs, users need to configure smoking dust and arc-shielding devices according to the current status of equipment installation and local conditions to make safe and civilized production.
